Free HP Exam Mock Tests & Daily Speed Practice: Boost Your Score in HP TGT, JBT, HPPSC & Patwari

In Himachal Pradesh competitive exams — HP TGT, JBT, HPPSC, Patwari and the rest — two things quietly separate the selected from the rest: how fast you calculate, and how well you handle a full paper under the clock. Knowing a method isn't enough when the timer is running. So we've added two free tools to HP Rank Checker that train exactly those skills: Speed Practice and Mock Tests. Both are free, both work on your phone, and both track your progress so you can actually see yourself improve.
Why speed and full-length practice decide selection
Most aspirants prepare by reading. But the exam hall doesn't test whether you know how to find 15% of 240 — it tests whether you can do it in four seconds while 99 other questions wait. The same is true for a full paper: managing time across sections, deciding when to skip, and not panicking at question 80 are skills you can only build by doing, repeatedly, under real conditions. That's what these two features are built for.
Speed Practice: one-minute drills that build reflexes
Head to /practice, sign in with Google, and pick a track. There are two:
- Quick Maths — rapid drills across addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, tables, squares, cubes, square & cube roots, percentages, fractions, BODMAS simplification, and number series.
- English (Alphabet & Reasoning) — letter position, opposite letter, nth letter, and letter series — the classic reasoning-section drills.
Each round is a 60-second sprint: a question appears, you tap the answer, and the next one loads instantly. You can choose your difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard) or launch a Custom Drill to set your own number range and number of questions. After every round you see your accuracy, average speed per question, fastest answer, and best streak, and it all rolls up into a dashboard with your daily streak — so practising a few minutes every day becomes a habit you can measure.

Five focused minutes a day here does more for your calculation speed than an hour of passive reading.
Mock Tests: full-length papers, exactly like the real thing
For the bigger picture, go to /mock. Mock Tests are full-length, timed, exam-style papers — not quick drills. When you start one you get:
- A countdown timer for the whole paper, with auto-submit when time runs out.
- One question at a time, with a question palette that colour-codes every question — answered, not answered, marked for review, or not visited — so you can navigate exactly like the official exam interface.
- Save & Next, Mark for Review, and Clear Response controls, so you can move through the paper the way you would in the real hall.
When you submit, your paper is graded on our server against the official answer key — including negative marking — so the score you see is honest. You then get a detailed result: your score, correct/wrong/skipped counts, accuracy, time taken, a section-wise breakdown, and a full question-by-question review with the correct answers and solutions. Your progress is saved to your account, and because the answer key stays on the server, there's nothing to peek at mid-test.

How to get started (it's free)
- Open /practice for daily drills, or /mock for a full paper.
- Sign in with Google — it's free, and it's what lets us save your streak, accuracy, and results.
- Do one 60-second drill and one mock this week, then check your dashboard. The trend is what matters.
Note for Aspirants: These practice tools are designed for practice and self-assessment. They sharpen your speed and exam temperament, but they don't replace your primary syllabus study or the official answer keys. Treat your scores here as a training signal to turn "I know it" into "I solved it in time."
